RoofPitch is provided by Big Solar Co-op for community energy organisations working with it. By using RoofPitch you agree to these terms.

Accounts

Accounts are made by Big Solar Co-op for users at organisations it works with, and managed by each organisation's managers. Keep your password to yourself, and tell your manager or info@bigsolar.coop if you think someone else has used your account.

What RoofPitch is for

RoofPitch is for assessing whether buildings are suitable for solar panels, designing installations, and preparing proposals for them. Don't use it for anything else, or try to copy or extract its data in bulk.

Estimates, not guarantees

Roof measurements, panel layouts, generation and savings are estimates from aerial imagery and modelling. They can be wrong. Check a site in person, and get professional advice, before you or anyone else relies on them.

Google Maps

RoofPitch uses Google Maps features and content, including the Google Solar API. Your use of them is subject to the current versions of the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may change RoofPitch or these terms. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we change them.
